MHK Insurance

True Ties

A lot can happen in a century. Communities emerge and grow; generations come and go. As a business, it takes strength and character to not only last, but thrive, through it all.

That’s precisely what MHK Insurance has achieved as an independent brokerage in Western Canada. Since 1913, this energetic company has served the people and businesses who make our region strong.

So, when MHK asked FREE to rethink their brand identity, we knew to invigorate it with this exact spirit. Through imagery of familiar local landscapes, story-driven language and an engaging web presence, the brand we crafted celebrates the broker’s real roots in our community.

Throughout history, MHK has formed true ties to what matters most—our region’s people, businesses and communities.

Going Digital

Whether it’s for personal or commercial insurance, MHK’s website is a major client touchpoint for the broker. When building their new online presence, we were focused on resonating with both individual clients and businesses. The new website’s language and visuals embody MHK’s rich connection to Western Canada, while also drawing audiences in with fun, conversational quips.

The website structure leads users down a natural, streamlined path, helping each audience find the right coverage plan for their needs. Bold navigation and prominent calls-to-action entice users to contact MHK for a quote. Highly visual news, events and resource pages provide visitors with relevant tools to navigate their insurance coverage. We also seamlessly integrated the website with MHK’s app, making it simple and secure for users to manage and pay their plans online.

“Right from day one, FREE’s focus was on our best interests, involving us in their process of discovery every step of the way. The end result was a refreshed brand with vibrant and contemporary creative elements, plus a website that resonates with our staff, clients and business partners.”

— Michelle Rose BA, Manager, Communications & Corporate Relations/Human Resources
