WIN House

I Can Act

Domestic violence: Silence, shame and fear of judgement run rampant with these two words. As Edmonton’s largest women’s emergency shelter and support provider, WIN House wanted to challenge the stigma surrounding domestic abuse in a constructive way. Through impactful visuals, empowering language and an informative website, we helped them bring hope and light to this dark issue, while also supporting their fundraising goals and community engagement activities.

Going Digital

The new website gives WIN House a platform to rally for, and empower, victims. Upon visiting the site, we knew there had to be a fast and easy route for victims to get help, or for donors to give. We achieved this with clear calls-to-action for each audience above the fold.

Helpful tips, advice and resources provide victims with actionable ways to overcome their abusive situation, with a large quick exit button to protect their safety. Streamlined donation, volunteer and event sign-up forms make it simple for visitors to lend their support to the cause. A unique pledge-sharing campaign helps supporters spread the word to their social networks.
